Dr. Xu Ren focuses on assisting clients in maximizing the value of their intellectual property and technology assets, including through IP-driven transactions, mergers and acquisitions, IP monetization strategies, financing and IP-based special situations investments. Dr. Ren has significant experience in IP valuation, licensing strategy, market research and cash flow analysis.
Prior to joining Duprezlaw, Dr. Ren worked for ECOSOC of the United Nations in New York and the Finance Committee of the French National Assembly in Paris. Since 2010, Dr. Ren has taught at Pantheon-Sorbonne University.
Among multiple recent research initiatives, Dr. Ren was a coauthor of numerous publications in English and French, such as "Financial impact of legal practice on software patent subject matter eligibility" in the Journal of High Technology Management Research. Dr. Ren is also the author of a book in French, « La Chinamérique ». Dr. Ren's technical and financial proficiencies coupled with her trilingual capabilities provide tremendous value to her clients.
